This is a set of small utilities I developed. They are all web-based and free to use.

DATA

• bandwidth calculator: convert throughput, network speed and data transfer rate.
• bandwidth chart: overview of standard data transfer rates
• filesize: calculate filesize from bandwidth and duration
• data density: calculate and convert data density units (GB/liter)

RGB COLOR

• color converter: convert between RGB, CMYK, HSV and Pantone
  
• color chart: names of RGB colors
• RGB screen test: how well does your screen show RGB shades
• Bayer mask simulator: simulate color artefacts for RAW-2-JPG conversion with digital photography

MUSIC

• BPM converter: for any given tempo, see how it translates into LFO Hz and milliseconds
• BPM counter: tap along with a song and see its tempo (beats per minute)
• Tango BPM counter: find the tempo of a tango song (tango, milonga, vals, neotango)
• Guitar neck simulator: find the right notes on your fret board (open tunings, bass guitars, banjo ...)

PHOTO/VIDEO

• megapixel calculator: calculate resolution, image size, estimated JPG/TIF/RAW size.
• megapixel chart: list well-known and standard resolutions for camera, screen, video and cinema.
• aperture/shutter: relationship between aperture (f-stop), shutter speed, film speed (ISO) and focal length?
• View angle: what is the view angle for a CRT, flat screen, iPod or PSP?

HTML

• Webjay wizard: use Webjay to generate a music playlist (optionally with an embedded player) of any web page you choose
• Youtube code: embed Youtube movie in different sizes, or with thumbnails
• MP3 buttons: so you can play your MP3 in Windows media, iTunes, RealAudio player
• launch MP3 files: use template code to launch an MP3 file in any desired player (Real, Windows media). Handy for podcast templates!
